Job Description
Telehealth Nurse Practitioner providing evidence-based virtual care for complex women’s health conditions through Visana Health. Conducting patient visits, follow-ups, documentation, and clinical collaboration remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, compassionate virtual care visits using evidence-based care and treatment plans
- Deliver timely follow-up via messaging, phone calls, and lab/test result reviews
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and billing within 24 hours of each encounter
- Attend weekly clinical meetings to discuss complex cases and share clinical insights
- Collaborate with an expert clinical team
- Provide care for complex and historically overlooked women’s health conditions, including endometriosis, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, and heavy menstrual bleeding
Requirements:
- 4+ years of NP experience in women’s health (via clinical practice, specialty certification, or both)
- Active, unencumbered NP/CNM licenses
- Prescriptive authority with independent practice eligibility where applicable
- Active licenses in at least 3 states
- At least 1 active license in Group A: CA, NY, IN, GA, OH, TN, MN, AZ, or PA
- At least 1 active license in Group B: VA, MO, KY, CO, FL, TX, MS, AL, NC, AR, CT, or NJ
- Board-certified in Family Practice, Adult Health, Women’s Health, or Nurse-Midwifery
- Active DEA registration
- Consistent Friday coverage
- Minimum 15 direct patient hours/week
- Shifts available between 6:30 AM and 10:00 PM local time
- Preferred: dual background in primary care and women’s health
- Preferred: prior experience with Athenahealth EMR and telehealth platforms
- Multilingual skills preferred
