Job Description
Senior Nurse Practitioner delivering evidence-based telehealth care for complex women’s health conditions at Visana Health’s virtual clinic. Managing evaluations, care plans, follow-ups, and clinical documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered, unhurried virtual evaluations
- Develop individualized, evidence-based care plans
- Guide patients through complex diagnostics and longitudinal management via secure messaging, telehealth visits, and phone follow-ups
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and coding within 24 hours of each encounter
- Mentor and collaborate within a group-practice model through weekly clinical case reviews and peer discussions
- Deliver virtual care for complex and historically overlooked women's health conditions, including endometriosis, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, and heavy menstrual bleeding
Requirements:
- 15+ years of extensive Nurse Practitioner experience dedicated to women’s health, complex gynecologic conditions, or primary care with deep women's health focus
- Active, unencumbered NP licenses with prescriptive authority and eligibility for independent practice where applicable
- Active licenses in at least 3 states
- At least 1 active license in Group A: CA, NY, IN, GA, OH, TN, MN, AZ, or PA
- At least 1 active license in Group B: VA, MO, KY, CO, FL, TX, MS, AL, NC, AR, CT, or NJ
- Board certification in Family Practice, Adult Health, Women’s Health, or Nurse-Midwifery
- Active DEA registration
- Comfort with or enthusiasm for virtual care delivery platforms and EMR workflows
- Athenahealth experience preferred
- Commitment to at least 15 patient-facing hours per week
- Consistent Friday availability
- Shifts available between 6:30 AM–10:00 PM local time
- 1099 contractor status
