Job Description
Nutrition Specialist coaching patients through personalized nutrition, metabolic health, and behavior strategies. Supporting Early Medical’s virtual longevity practice with data-driven care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop highly tailored nutrition protocols that optimize glucose, balance caloric intake, and support lean muscle retention
- Use CGMs, body composition metrics (ALMI, VAT), and biomarkers to create customized recommendations
- Coach patients through barriers and help implement strategies in demanding environments
- Address stress and sleep alongside nutrition
- Design meal planning, tracking, and adherence strategies for busy schedules
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists on integrated metabolic health care
- Monitor patient progress, refine approaches based on outcomes, and improve methodologies
- Conduct one-on-one coaching, data analysis, habit formation, protocol implementation, patient education, and case discussions
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RD/RDN) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential
- At least 5 years of experience coaching professionals in nutritional implementation
- Experience with metabolic health optimization
- Proven expertise in caloric restriction (CR) and dietary restriction (DR) strategies
- Demonstrated ability to assess and address body composition concerns
- Strong understanding of, or willingness to learn, Nutrition 3.0 and the Early Medical framework
- Experience with remote coaching and virtual communication
- Experience and deep knowledge with macro-based meal planning
- Experience working with athletic populations
