Job Description
Remote O&M Manager monitoring Sungrow’s solar and energy storage assets across Europe. Troubleshooting incidents, coordinating field teams, and improving fleet reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the technical performance and availability of PV and ESS assets through remote monitoring platforms and SCADA systems
- Lead remote troubleshooting, coordinate incident response, and support root cause analysis for recurring technical issues
- Prioritize and coordinate corrective actions with field service teams, service partners, engineering, and customers
- Track O&M performance against contractual commitments, including SLAs, availability targets, and response times
- Analyze operational data, equipment logs, alarms, and trends to improve fleet reliability and service quality
- Develop clear remote O&M processes, reporting standards, and knowledge-sharing materials for the European service organization
- Lead remote monitoring and operational support for PV and energy storage assets across Europe
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Renewable Energy, or a comparable technical field
- Several years of experience in O&M, technical service, remote monitoring, asset management, or a related role
- Strong knowledge of PV, ESS, BESS, inverters, communication systems, and technical troubleshooting
- Experience working with SCADA platforms, ticketing tools, data analysis, and equipment logs
- Confident customer communication skills
- Calm approach during critical incidents
- Strong ownership
- English C1
- Romanian B2 or higher is a plus
- Other European languages are welcome
