Job Description
Parabroker managing Australian commercial and residential loan applications for a Western Australian finance advisory. Owning applications from assessment through settlement and coordinating clients, lenders and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage loan applications end-to-end from initial assessment and submission through approval and settlement
- Own the loan pipeline, tracking outstanding requirements, conditions, documentation and deadlines
- Review applications and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, servicing, borrowing capacity and potential credit issues
- Support commercial lending across commercial property, acquisitions, development, asset finance and working capital
- Review company/trust financials, tax returns and business information
- Liaise with clients, lenders, BDMs, brokers, solicitors and other stakeholders
- Provide clear updates and proactively resolve issues
- Maintain accurate CRM and loan records, including application status, documentation, communications, tasks and follow-ups
- Assess and troubleshoot lending scenarios using sound credit fundamentals
- Research lender policies and lending options and assist with structuring applications
- Support continuous improvement of loan processing workflows, systems and processes
- Work closely with the business owner to keep the loan pipeline moving and identify potential issues early
Requirements:
- Philippines-based candidate
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Credit Officer, Parabroker, Mortgage Broker support, Loan Processor or similar lending role
- Strong knowledge of the Australian lending environment
- Demonstrated experience managing loan applications from submission through to settlement
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Confidence in communicating with clients and handling lending-related conversations
- Experience with servicing calculations and initial credit assessment
- Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Strong problem-solving skills and commercial judgement
- Ability to work within a dynamic team environment
- Commercial lending experience (nice-to-have)
- Experience with commercial property, business lending or development finance (nice-to-have)
- Understanding of Australian tax returns and financial statements (nice-to-have)
- Must disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
- Must reflect this engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor”
