Job Description

People Operations Generalist managing employee lifecycle operations for CopilotIQ+Biofourmis, an AI-driven in-home healthcare platform. Supporting HR systems, benefits, compliance, reporting, and employee experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Own employee lifecycle administration including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, promotions, and organizational updates
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems
  • Manage HR documentation, employee files, and process documentation
  • Support new hire orientation and ensure a seamless onboarding experience
  • Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and HR processes
  • Administer HRIS and other People systems, ensuring accurate employee data
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports for leadership
  • Audit HR data and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist with HR technology implementations and enhancements
  • Support benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and open enrollment
  • Partner with external vendors to resolve employee benefit questions
  • Coordinate leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and state leave programs
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Maintain I-9 compliance, personnel files, and required employment documentation
  • Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and policy updates
  • Support background check, employment verification, and credentialing processes as needed
  • Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs
  • Assist with performance review cycles and talent programs
  • Support internal communications and People team projects
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve the employee experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field is required
  • 3–5 years of Human Resources or People Operations experience is required
  • Experience supporting a fast-paced startup or high-growth company
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience administering HRIS platforms (Rippling, BambooHR, Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar)
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
