Job Description
Part-time remote Pharmacy Technician transcribing prescription and diagnosis data into web applications. Supporting CVS Health’s patient-focused standardized health documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe patient-specific prescription information, diagnosis information, and recommendations into a third-party, web-based application
- Transcribe data from hard-copy materials or a SignifyHealth application
- Enter data used to create standardized documents mailed to individual patients
- Maintain accuracy and speed when entering patient-specific prescription, diagnosis, and recommendation information
- Attend training sessions to acquire or enhance skills related to essential job responsibilities
Requirements:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license
- At least 2 years of experience as Pharmacy Technician
- Understanding of pharmaceutical and medical vocabulary
- Experience in prescription order entry
- Fluently speak, read, and write English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Tech savvy
- Self-directed and organized
- Discreet/ability to maintain confidentiality
- Detail-oriented
- Sense of urgency
