Job Description
Principal Workday Architect designing technical architecture for Workday platform. Collaborating with HR, IT, and Finance to deliver innovative Workday solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and govern the technical architecture of the Workday platform.
- Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of core and advanced compensation modules.
- Own end-to-end compensation-related system configuration such as compensation plans.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for compensation architecture.
- Oversee global compensation cycles including performance review integration.
- Lead the architectural design and technical oversight of Workday modules.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to Workday configurations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday Studio, EIBs, calculated fields, security configuration.
- Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and business units to translate complex requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
- Act as the final escalation point for complex architectural issues.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including architectural or solution design roles.
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of multiple Workday modules, especially Core HCM and Compensation.
- Strong understanding of integration methods, Workday Extend, calculated fields, and security best practices.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure Workday solutions.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in a large, multi-national organization with complex HR requirements.
- Workday certifications across multiple domains.
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Familiarity with other HR technologies and APIs (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Microsoft Entra/Active Directory).
