  • Collaborate with Legal, Tax, and Risk teams to resolve key issues and ensure compliance with IRS rules, safe harbor tests, and recapture protections.
  • Adept at managing client relationships on both sides of the market — developers/sponsors and investors — ensuring clear communication and smooth execution.

Requirements:

  • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to review/analyze complex partnership models.
  • Deep understanding of IRS requirements, safe harbor rules, allocation methodologies, and recapture provisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong capabilities or desire to rapidly advance leveraging technology and AI to enhance investment execution and portfolio management.
  • FINRA SIE, Series 79 and 63 required or willingness to obtain under Crux’s broker-dealer sponsorship.
