Job Description
Manager of Project Financial Management at Baker Tilly ensuring accurate revenue recognition and leading financial analytics team. Focused on operational excellence and data-driven insights.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of financial analysts responsible for accurate revenue recognition, project margin analytics
- Partner with service line leaders and the Enterprise Pricing CoE to monitor revenue trends, project performance post-pricing, ensuring commercial terms are supported through effective delivery management.
- Identify repetitive, manual tasks suitable for automation to improve efficiency and data quality
- Lead the design and implementation of automation solutions, AI driven analytics and workflow optimization
- Partner with Technology and Operations teams to deploy AI tools for forecasting, anomaly detection and predictive insights
- Monitor trends in delivery performance and margin optimization opportunities
- Partner with the Data Analytics team to establish data governance frameworks to ensure integrity and consistency in reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, delivery margin analytics, or cost optimization, including 2+ years in a team leadership or managerial role.
- Experience managing financial analytics or shared service teams supporting U.S. or global business units.
- Experience in Workday/SAP and automation platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, Alteryx)
- Advanced Excel and data analytics skills, SQL, Python
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and functions.
- Demonstrated leadership, analytical excellence, and a focus on continuous improvement in a fast-paced, global environment.
