Job Description
Principal Lead Data Manager leading clinical data strategies, analysis, and governance. Supporting ICON's global clinical research organization in bringing treatments to patients faster.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical data science workstreams, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations
- Lead the development and implementation of clinical data management strategies to optimize data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science techniques into clinical trial designs
- Oversee clinical data analysis to provide actionable insights informing study decisions and outcomes
- Provide strategic guidance on data governance, quality control, and regulatory compliance
- Establish partnerships with key stakeholders to leverage advancements in data science and technology in clinical research
- Manage competing priorities and develop the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in clinical data science, with a strong focus on data management and analysis in clinical trials
- Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrix environment
- Expertise in data analysis tools, statistical software, and data visualization techniques
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change in a complex organization
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 15%)
- Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
