Job Description

Principal Product Manager launching S&P Global’s private credit valuations software. Defining strategy, leading development, and driving user adoption across private markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the long-term vision and growth strategy for a new private credit valuations product
  • Combine valuation persona knowledge, AI/ML/LLM advances, and FinTech ecosystem knowledge to design and launch a commercially viable product
  • Oversee product initiatives through the full product development lifecycle
  • Manage cross-functional teams and ensure opportunities are vetted, defined, designed, and delivered
  • Build relationships with target users and establish user forums, working groups, and Alpha/Beta testing programs
  • Attend relevant industry conferences to promote and market the product
  • Manage strategic internal and external stakeholder conversations
  • Build relationships with clients, partners, and senior leadership
  • Create and execute product roadmaps and secure executive and client buy-in
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive opportunities

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B FinTech product management
  • Deep understanding of the private capital market landscape
  • Knowledge of valuations workflows
  • Knowledge of the private credit asset class
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with product management tools such as Aha and Pendo
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional product teams
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred
  • CFA or CAIA preferred
