Job Description
Principal Software Engineer developing foundational systems supporting engineering operations at Cozey. Designing and maintaining infrastructure for efficient e-commerce processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain platform services and infrastructure at the core of the COS organization
- Develop internal tools, frameworks, and abstractions to improve developer experience and productivity
- Evolve our cloud infrastructure (AWS), ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost optimization
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment systems, and observability tools
- Establish best practices for reliability, security, and performance
- Lead initiatives around system resilience, incident response, and availability improvements
- Promote adoption and standardization of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Pulumi, Terraform, or similar tools)
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience with AWS
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Pulumi)
- Experience with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) and production monitoring
- Passion for improving developer experience and accelerating engineering teams
- Experience with strongly-typed or object-oriented languages, such as TypeScript
