Job Description

Product Lead owning participant recruitment and panel experiences at Maze, a user research platform. Shaping scalable research recruitment products, operations, and partner integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the recruitment and panel experience at Maze
  • Set the product vision and roadmap for recruitment and participant management across Maze
  • Improve participant quality through feedback loops, quality signals, filtering, and clearer participant experiences
  • Make it easier for customers to recruit audiences across different study types and complex enterprise use cases
  • Analyze panel performance and identify participant supply, quality, and fulfillment gaps
  • Partner with Panel Operations to improve recruitment tools, workflows, and handoffs
  • Evaluate and onboard panel partners and determine where integrations can improve quality, coverage, or efficiency
  • Develop smarter study routing to appropriate participant supply
  • Stay close to recruitment operations to ground product decisions in fulfillment realities
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Research Partners on customer needs, feasibility, packaging, adoption, and deal opportunities
  • Define and measure success across participant quality, fulfillment, and recruitment experience
  • Work in a trio with Engineering and Design and collaborate with Product, Operations, GTM, Customer Success, Research Partners, and other product teams

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Product Lead, or equivalent, owning complex product areas from strategy through execution
  • Comfortable working on products spanning software, operations, and external partners
  • Ability to turn messy, cross-functional problems into a clear product vision and actionable roadmap
  • Comfortable working closely with operational workflows
  • Strong product judgment and ability to make clear recommendations with imperfect information
  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Design and engaging stakeholders across the business
  • Systems thinking and focus on scalable product solutions
  • Ability to balance customer experience, business needs, operational realities, and technical constraints
  • Ability to move quickly, make decisions with imperfect information, and continuously learn
  • Bonus: experience with user research or research participant recruitment
