Job Description

Product Line Manager driving strategy and execution of crop protection, seed, and inoculant programs. Leading collaboration with internal teams and retail partners in Western Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth and profitability as our Product Line Manager where you’ll lead the strategy and execution of crop protection, seed and inoculant programs across key manufacturer partners.
  • Lead forecasting, inventory planning, and ordering to align supply with market demand, trends, and profitability targets.
  • Drive pricing, supplier negotiations, and program execution to optimize margins and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Support annual planning and manage in-season inventory, including allocations, positioning, returns, and revaluations.
  • Build strong retail relationships and apply creative, customer-centric thinking to understand their needs and support their business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute marketing initiatives, coordinate operations, deliver program payments, and achieve vendor financial targets.
  • Build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships while providing insights, reporting, and continuous improvement to drive growth.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration by communicating key updates and partnering with internal teams and local Co-ops to align on programs, pricing, and business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Have 6-9 years of relevant experience in agriculture sales, purchasing or marketing; preference for individuals with Crop Protection & Seed sale or distribution.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • PAg, AT or CCA designation would be an asset.
