Job Description
Director leading RealPage’s AI strategy for renter’s insurance products. Owning portfolio growth, P&L outcomes, executive alignment, and Product Manager team development.
Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the end-to-end AI strategy for the renter’s insurance portfolio.
- Translate the multi-year AI strategy into a sequenced, resourced portfolio of AI-driven bets.
- Define AI applications across the portfolio and measure impact on unit growth, revenue, attach, persistency, and loss ratio.
- Present the insurance AI strategy, business case, investment shape, risk register, and progress to executive leadership and the C-suite.
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of Product Managers.
- Set team OKRs, conduct performance reviews, and make compensation and promotion recommendations.
- Establish processes for roadmap prioritization, PRD quality, and go-to-market readiness.
- Own the relationship with the Lumina AI Workforce team and secure roadmap prioritization for insurance work.
- Negotiate shared OKRs with Lumina product partners and resolve roadmap conflicts.
- Maintain client connections and review behavioral, support, and survey data to identify customer needs.
- Represent resident and PMC stakeholder perspectives in executive and platform discussions.
- Own enrollment, revenue growth, churn, persistency, premium/policy economics, customer experience, and the P&L case for AI investment.
- Model unit economics and defend the business case to finance and executive leadership.
- Partner with sales leadership and product marketing on competitive narratives and battlecards.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- 1+ years directly leading and developing Product Managers or a product team.
- Demonstrated experience setting and executing an AI-driven product strategy.
- Experience ideally in fintech, insurtech, proptech, SaaS, or another regulated or platform-dependent environment.
- Track record owning P&L or business-case accountability for a product portfolio.
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior executives and the C-suite.
- Experience operating in or alongside a regulated business.
- Experience partnering with legal/compliance on governance, fairness, and audit requirements for AI systems.
- Strong experience negotiating roadmap priorities and shared commitments with partner platform teams outside direct span of control.
- Excellent executive communication skills.
- Preferred: deep knowledge of insurance, renter’s insurance, or related regulatory environments.
- Preferred: experience with embedded or agentic AI platforms.
- Prior experience hiring, mentoring, and developing product management talent.
