Job Description
Product Manager owning discovery, delivery, and adoption for Anova’s IoT mobile platform. Shaping connected-hardware and SaaS solutions that improve industrial safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead customer discovery through interviews, site visits, usage analysis, and win/loss reviews
- Develop customer, market, and competitive insights using AI tools for research and synthesis
- Own the product backlog end-to-end, including writing specifications and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize backlog items and keep the backlog current and unambiguous
- Define success metrics, monitor feature adoption after launch, and iterate based on evidence
- Partner daily with engineering and design to unblock teams and make product trade-off decisions
- Reason across physical devices, connectivity, firmware cycles, sensor data quality, and the cloud platform
- Create release notes, internal briefings, and customer-facing materials to enable go-to-market teams
- Triage escalated product issues and maintain feedback loops with support and customer success
- Own feature adoption, customer value realization, discovery pipeline, delivery quality, squad metrics, and NPS contribution
- Contribute to roadmap development for a defined area of the Anova Unify platform
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience with mobile platform development, device connectivity, and software deployment
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with direct ownership of product area strategy and adoption outcomes
- 6+ years of total professional experience spanning product management, software engineering, or related technical functions
- Experience taking a product, feature, or initiative from zero to something real and used
- Track record of shipping SaaS or enterprise software in close partnership with engineering teams from spec to production using Agile/DevOps
- Experience conducting customer discovery interviews and translating qualitative and quantitative insight into prioritized, well-scoped backlog items
- Demonstrated use of AI and LLM tools in a PM context
- Ability to write clear, structured specs, one-pagers, and narratives for cross-functional audiences
- Comfort reasoning about APIs, data models, and integration patterns with engineers
- Data fluency, including defining metrics, pulling and analyzing data in BI tools, and making evidence-based roadmap decisions
- Prior experience in IIoT, connected-hardware, SaaS, or industrial technology environments preferred
- Experience shipping ML- or AI-assisted SaaS features preferred
- Exposure to industrial or field-operations workflows preferred
- Background in venture- or private-equity-backed high-growth industrial technology companies preferred
