Job Description
Product Manager shaping roadmap and execution for Morpho, a decentralized finance lending protocol. Translating user needs into technical protocol improvements and guiding initiatives from discovery through adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Own the roadmap for Morpho's protocol team and sequence high-impact opportunities
- Build and run continuous discovery with curators, distributors, integrators, developers, and other protocol users
- Translate user and market insights into product requirements, decision frameworks, and success criteria
- Partner with protocol, engineering, research, security, legal, solutions, partnerships, and marketing teams from exploration through launch and adoption
- Evaluate product and technical tradeoffs, including protocol extensions, infrastructure improvements, partner enablement, and complexity avoidance
- Define and track quantitative and qualitative signals to measure protocol initiative success
- Communicate product direction, decisions, tradeoffs, and release implications to internal and external stakeholders
- Improve product decision-making and documentation as Morpho and its ecosystem scale
- Establish a prioritized view of protocol problems and opportunities
- Drive meaningful initiatives from discovery into execution and ship protocol improvements
Requirements:
- 5+ years building technical products in complex or fast-changing environments
- Proven track record taking products or major features from ambiguous problem spaces through launch and iteration
- Strong technical fluency, including reasoning about system design and constraints and engaging deeply with engineers and researchers
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Excellent product judgment and principled prioritization
- Strong user discovery and synthesis skills
- Experience leading cross-functional work without formal authority
- Ability to define success, use quantitative and qualitative evidence, and adapt direction as new information emerges
- Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in an async environment
- Comfort creating clarity and driving decisions in highly ambiguous contexts
- Strong ownership and autonomy
- Team-first mindset and low ego
- Experience in crypto, DeFi, traditional finance, or fintech is nice to have
- Familiarity with lending markets, smart contracts, or permissionless protocols is nice to have
- Experience shipping products with significant security, audit, regulatory, or governance considerations is nice to have
