Job Description

Product Owner translating healthcare automation roadmaps into Agile requirements for GHX, a healthcare business and data automation company. Managing backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and post-launch product performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Senior Manager, Product Management and engage regularly with cross-functional leaders
  • Convert product vision and roadmap into workable product requirements for engineering
  • Own the development backlog, including grooming and acceptance of features and requirements
  • Review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks in an Agile environment
  • Translate roadmap features into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance test criteria
  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products
  • Lead the product functional design process based on knowledge of users and technology
  • Collaborate with analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement stakeholders
  • Define self-service user experience, customer support, and monitoring with user-focused departments
  • Track and report product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of product or project development experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development
  • Background launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams
  • Understanding of Agile principles
  • High proficiency in prototyping and iterative development
  • Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience; healthcare experience is a plus
  • Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
  • Customer-first mindset
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
  • Knowledge of Agile product development methodologies such as Scrum
