Job Description
Project Manager leading cross-functional projects at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Ensure operational efficiency and excellent customer service while contributing to healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer
- Manage cross-functional projects while ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope
- Contribute to meaningful scientific advances and healthcare solutions
- Maintain project timelines and identify risks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required, no prior experience required in project management or coordination
- Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- Additional certifications in Project Management are valued but not required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and process management capabilities
- Experience with quality systems and GMP compliance preferred
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English required; additional languages may be needed based on location
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks while maintaining project timelines
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or scientific industries preferred
