Job Description
PMHNP providing individual psychiatric care via telehealth for BlueSky, a clinician-led behavioral health company. Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
- Provide direct patient care
- Conduct patient assessments
- Develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications as necessary
- Ensure patient care complies with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
- Collaborate with therapists and participate in regular staffing to discuss patient cases or clinical topics
- Attend clinical conferences at least once weekly during the first 90 days, then monthly
- Perform clinical work from home with virtual clinical team meetings
Requirements:
- Must have a PMHNP license in MA
- Open to licensing in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington
- Prior work as a PMHNP preferred but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals
- Solid computer and basic technology skills
- Strong clinical background in psychiatry
- Strong background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments
- Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills
