Job Description
PMHNP providing outpatient psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, and medication management via telehealth. Delivering autonomous, evidence-based care through BlueSky’s clinician-led behavioral health teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
- Provide direct patient care
- Conduct patient assessments
- Develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications as necessary
- Ensure patient care complies with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
- Join multidisciplinary teams composed of therapists and a prescriber
- Meet regularly with collaborating therapists, at least monthly, to discuss patient cases or clinical topics
- Attend at least one clinical conference per week during the first 90 days of employment
- Attend one clinical conference monthly after the first 90 days
Requirements:
- Must have a PMHNP license
- Open to licensing in alternative states
- Prior work as a PMHNP preferred but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals
- Solid computer and basic technology skills
- Strong clinical background in psychiatry
- Strong background in diagnosing psychiatric disorders
- Strong background in psychopharmacological treatments
- Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational and time management skills
