Job Description
PMHNP providing outpatient psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, and medication management via telehealth. BlueSky expands access to evidence-based behavioral healthcare from home.
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
- Provide direct patient care
- Conduct patient assessments
- Develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications as necessary
- Ensure patient care complies with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
- Practice autonomously in the best interest of patients
- Attend at least one clinical conference per week during the first 90 days of employment
- Attend one clinical conference monthly after the first 90 days
Requirements:
- Must have a PMHNP license in Iowa
- Open to licensing in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Strong clinical background in psychiatry
- Strong background in diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments
- Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills
