Job Description
Publishing Manager identifying mobile game trends and shaping testable concepts for CrazyLabs, a leading casual and hybrid-casual game publisher. Using AI, market research, and creative strategy to validate new game opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Research mobile game trends, genres, mechanics, creatives, and player behavior
- Identify promising market opportunities and new game directions
- Turn insights into concepts, briefs, references, and testable ideas
- Test and validate new concepts
- Use AI to accelerate ideation, visual exploration, and prototyping
- Review market and test signals to decide what to pursue, iterate, or stop
- Share learnings and opportunities across the Publishing team
- Work at the intersection of market trends, game concepts, creative strategy, publishing, and AI-driven creative development
- Collaborate with external studios and multiple internal teams
Requirements:
- 3+ years in mobile games across publishing, product, game development, game design, or creative strategy
- Strong understanding of mobile game genres, trends, mechanics, and creative patterns
- Ability to explain why a game or concept works
- Experience creating briefs, references, presentations, or product feedback
- Experience working with external partners or cross-functional teams
- Practical experience with AI tools
- Strong written and verbal English
- Experience with hybrid-casual, puzzle, idle, arcade, or casual games; creative testing, playable ads, market research, or Unity
- Experience with Figma, Claude, Cursor, or similar tools
- Strong technical orientation and ability to quickly learn new tools and workflows
