Job Description
Automation QA Engineer building Java-based, AI-assisted test automation for B2Spin’s free-to-play social casino products. Designing backend tests, CI/CD pipelines, and quality documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Review and validate manual test cases for automation needs
- Implement automation tests, leveraging AI for repetitive coding tasks
- Refactor code using AI to improve performance and modernize legacy test patterns
- Analyze bug reports and generate execution summaries with AI
- Maintain high-quality automation documentation and READMEs in sync with the codebase
- Follow project-specific AI rules to standardize technical solutions
- Plan, estimate, and complete commitments on time
- Participate in code reviews after AI-assisted checks for syntax errors, edge cases, and security vulnerabilities
- Use AI for semantic code restructuring and IDE tools for safe renames and signature changes
- Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines with AI assistance
- Design and automate backend test cases, including edge cases, boundary conditions, and complex multi-currency or state-transition scenarios
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-time experience in Java Automation
- Knowledge of Java Core (Java 8+)
- Experience with Playwright
- Experience with RestAssured/Retrofit
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL
- Experience with OpenAPI/JSON schema validation
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS/DOM
- Knowledge of XPath/CSS selectors
- Proficiency in inline autocomplete and chat-based AI generation
- Active use of agentic coding modes, such as Cursor Composer
- Ability to identify and manually correct AI-generated code hallucinations
- Ability to use AI for bug investigation while manually validating hypotheses
- Expert use of browser developer tools
- Deep understanding of client-server architecture
- Strong understanding of software testing theory, test strategies, and industry standards
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and estimate tasks
- Ability to work independently with direction aligned with the lead and teams
- Ability to build and maintain test documentation and reports
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong critical thinking
- Selenium-based frameworks, Kafka, ElasticSearch, and performance automation with Locust are a plus
