Job Description

Regional Medical Scientific Director engaging national and regional Scientific Leaders in Immunology. Driving strategic operating priorities and facilitating scientific exchange and insights within the therapeutic area.

Responsibilities:

  • Engages with national and regional Scientific Leaders to ensure access to medical and scientific information
  • Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintains a reliable presence with Scientific Leaders
  • Addresses scientific questions and directs inquiries on issues outside of scope to appropriate company resources
  • Initiates discussions with Scientific Leaders and potential investigators for scientific/data exchange
  • Recommends study sites and identifies potential investigators for clinical development programs
  • Engages in scientific congresses and medical meetings for data exchange
  • Gathers feedback and data to comprehend medical or scientific needs, priorities, or concerns

Requirements:

  • PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD
  • 3 years of relevant Immunology (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) experience beyond that obtained in the terminal degree program
  • Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with key external stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and networking skills
  • Thorough comprehension of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical industry and its customers
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote)
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms
