Job Description
Regulatory Operations Analyst at Brightspeed developing projects for Government Affairs and Regulatory Compliance teams. Managing various initiatives to strengthen broadband service and support regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining projects supporting our Government Affairs and Regulatory Compliance teams
- Managing multiple projects that are varied in scope, size, and complexity
- Supporting the Government Affairs and Regulatory Compliance teams on broadband grant programs and planned broadband builds
- Creating various reporting tools to achieve established goals
- Identifying and analyzing local government, state legislative, and regulatory developments affecting Brightspeed
- Collaborating with internal teams to maintain compliance with service quality standards
- Developing reporting processes and tools for visibility to the Executive Leadership Team
- Conducting research on key regulatory and legislative matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or the equivalent in relevant training or experience
- 1+ years of experience in a state/local government affairs or state regulatory/legislative affairs environment
- Strong technical skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and other collaboration platforms
- Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills to interpret regulatory requirements and assess their impact on Brightspeed's services and operations
- The ability to work well in a demanding environment and to manage complex and competing organizational priorities under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross functional teams
