Job Description
Resource Manager responsible for efficient resource allocation in Professional Services at Boomi. Collaborating with leaders to align staffing with business goals and ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Regional Leaders to align resource allocation with goals.
- Maintain visibility of all projects to allocate resources appropriately, identify conflicts, and ensure the right skills are matched to tasks using an updated skills inventory.
- Serve as the primary contact for staffing requests, ensuring timely deployment.
- Work with leaders and Project Managers to forecast future resource needs and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Assist with accurate timecard management and resource tracking.
- Track and reconcile actual vs. forecasted resource usage, providing recommendations for adjustments.
- Produce monthly billing reports and coordinate with the Finance Team for accurate invoicing of billable hours.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery issues (timecards, assignments, projects, resource requests).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in resource management, project management, or a related role, with experience using enterprise-level resource management tools.
- Strong understanding of resource allocation techniques and tools.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, time management, and attention to detail skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills for working with teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with resource management software and project management tools.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and critical thinker.
