Job Description
Cerner Revenue Cycle Analyst supporting healthcare client in Texas. Focused on charge build, data management, and revenue cycle optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Support Cerner Patient Accounting / Revenue Cycle workflows
- Navigate Cerner data model (tables, backend data flow)
- Perform bulk charge and pricing updates via CSV and scripts
- Write CCL queries and update statements to fix and extract data
- Build and manage: Claim rules (Claim Manager)
- Work queues (Profit Business Manager)
- Custom tokens and routing logic
- Trace data across registration → charges → claims
- Partner with patient access teams to ensure accurate upstream data capture
- Troubleshoot charge issues across clinical workflows (radiology vs. lab)
- Execute end-to-end testing, including workflows in PowerChart
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Cerner Revenue Cycle / Patient Accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Cerner data model and tables
- Advanced CCL scripting (queries, updates, automation)
- Experience with: Charge master / billing code maintenance
- Bulk updates (CSV uploads, pricing changes)
- Claim rules and work queues
- Understanding of electronic claims and data flow
- Familiarity with patient access / registration workflows
- On-call rotation required
Benefits:
- Salary based on experience $105,000 - $115,000 +
