Sales Manager responsible for developing customer relationships and driving sales in international automated logistics markets. Identifying potential customers and delivering tailored solutions with a focus on value.
Responsibilities:
- You identify prospective customers and build relationships—whether at trade shows, industry events, or through targeted prospecting.
- You keep an eye on trends, competitors and new opportunities. Your analyses feed directly into our sales strategy.
- You present our concepts and solutions so that customers not only understand what we do, but also the value our automation, material flow and software solutions deliver.
- You prepare and conduct sales meetings, including workshops with prospects where you analyze customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- From lead qualification to contract closing—you manage the entire sales process.
- You coordinate internal specialist departments and external partners, ensuring successful collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Tender discussions and contract negotiations are your stage.
Requirements:
- Education: You hold a degree in a technical or business-related field.
- Professional experience: You bring solid sales experience, ideally in selling complex intralogistics systems.
- Logistics understanding: You understand logistical processes, material flows and automation processes.
- Communication skills: You can present, negotiate and persuade. You build long-term customer relationships.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent German and English skills are required to excel in our international environment; an additional regional language is an advantage.
- High willingness to travel—your suitcase is almost always half-packed.
Benefits:
- Pan-European scope: International markets, exciting customers and diverse projects.
- Freedom to shape your role: You're not a cog in the machine but the driving force. Your impact on company success is direct and tangible.
- Team spirit despite travel requirements: Flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths and a supportive team—even when you're on the other side of the world.
- Ongoing training: Whether through the "Hörmann Academy" or external trainings—we invest in your skills so you're always one deal ahead.
- Attractive total package: Compensation matching your experience, plus benefits that make life easier on the road and at home.
- Great perks: A company bike program, meal allowance and plenty of other goodies that make life easier.
