Job Description

Sales Solutions Engineer leading technical customer engagement from pre-sales to post-sale implementation at Triple Whale, supporting eCommerce brands with analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical lead during sales cycles, owning discovery, technical scoping, demo support, proof-of-concepts, and solution validation.
  • Translate customer challenges into scalable, high-impact solutions using Triple Whale’s platform.
  • Differentiate against competitors through strong solution design and deep expertise in ecommerce analytics and attribution.
  • Deliver clear, compelling technical narratives that connect product capabilities to tangible business outcomes for ecommerce brands.
  • Lead onboarding and implementation for new customers, including the integration of Triple Whale’s JavaScript pixel, APIs, and server-side infrastructure.
  • Work directly with customer engineering teams and key stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely deployments.
  • Build and execute structured implementation plans, applying best practices and light scripting (Python, SQL, JavaScript) where required.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues across authentication, data flows, and API integrations using tools such as Postman, browser DevTools, and logs.
  • Advocate for customer needs by providing feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Help scale technical success across APAC by shaping repeatable go-to-market motions and onboarding frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solutions Architecture, ideally within SaaS, MarTech, or data platforms.
  • Demonstrated success supporting both pre-sales and post-sale technical delivery for mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript (tracking and pixels), SQL, and scripting (Python and/or Node.js).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently navigate both technical and commercial conversations.
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce ecosystems, including Shopify, attribution models, and modern cloud infrastructure.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first, high-growth environment with a builder’s mindset.
