Job Description
Solution Architect designing integration solutions for ECAD and PLM systems at Aras Corporation. Engaging with clients to translate business requirements and ensure implementation success.
Responsibilities:
- You will design customized integration solutions between ECAD and PLM systems, focusing on scalability, maintainability and performance.
- Based on functional and technical requirements, you will develop viable integration concepts and system architectures that align with existing IT landscapes.
- You will define interfaces, coordinate technical implementation teams and ensure that architectural principles, quality standards and best practices are adhered to.
- In close coordination with customers and internal stakeholders, you will oversee the solution throughout its entire life cycle, from requirements analysis to implementation and commissioning.
- You will take on technical project responsibility, assist with architecture reviews and ensure the solution is sustainably documented and developed further.
- You will also be the main contact for integrating the solution into existing systems, supporting teams with qualifications, testing and support remotely or on-site.
Requirements:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable qualification from a university or technical college
- Several years' experience working with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter or Oracle Agile
- Several years' experience working with ECAD systems such as Altium Designer, Siemens Xpedition/ PADS, Cadence OrCAD, Aucotec Engineering Base, EPLAN Electric P8 or others
- Several years of experience in both traditional and agile project management
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work, with a strong focus on customer needs
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in both written and spoken)
- German language skills are a plus
- Knowledge of .NET, C++, Java, C#, COM/COM+, XML, and ideally Ruby and the corresponding frameworks is a plus
