Job Description
Solution Engineer responsible for understanding European shipbuilding market and designing SSI digital solutions. Collaborating with EMEA sales manager to drive deal strategy and build customer trust across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep technical discovery and requirements analysis.
- Design and architect tailored SSI digital shipbuilding solutions.
- Deliver technical demonstrations in support of the sales process.
- Serve as the technical authority during the sales cycle.
- Collaborate closely with the EMEA sales manager to drive deal strategy.
- Provide early implementation insights.
- Maintain strong product, industry, and technology expertise.
- Build long‑term trust and pre‑sale customer confidence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- Demonstrated experience with CAD, CAE, PLM, or related engineering software tools
- Experience in shipbuilding or marine engineering is highly advantageous
- Backgrounds from industrial plant, process industries, or other advanced engineering environments are also well suited to this role
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both customers and internal stakeholders
- Proven effectiveness in customer-facing roles and matrix organizational environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
