Job Description
Scientific Solutions Consultant at Taconic Biosciences to design and implement high-impact in vivo studies. Serving as the scientific interface between Taconic and its customers with expertise in scientific consulting.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the scientific interface between Taconic and its customers
- Articulate the offerings and value proposition of Taconic
- Collaborate with colleagues to bring in new customers
- Support Sales in developing territory strategy
- Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of new products and services
- Ensure that project designs are well-conceived and that risks for failure are mitigated
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in biology, chemistry, animal science, genetics, or a related scientific field or a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Experience in the principles and methodology of experimental science (preferably biology)
- Strong foundation in in vivo research
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
- Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset
- Prior experience in a scientific consulting, technical sales, or project design role is a plus
