Job Description

Full Stack Engineer securing public-sector HR software with .NET and Angular. Remediating vulnerabilities, upgrading dependencies, testing fixes, and hardening cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Remediate security vulnerabilities across the .NET, Angular, SQL, and infrastructure stack
  • Upgrade NuGet and npm dependencies and resolve breaking changes
  • Fix authorization, XSS, path traversal, SQL injection, and weak cryptography issues
  • Rotate credentials and harden containers and Kubernetes deployments
  • Write unit tests and perform functional verification for every fix
  • Own major-version upgrades from diagnosis through resolution
  • Document upgrade analyses and solutions
  • Collaborate with repository-owning teams, Security, QA, and DevOps through reviews and remediation
  • Coordinate safe, sequenced credential-rotation rollouts
  • Evaluate proposed fixes and identify false positives with technical reasoning
  • Set up automation for continuous dependency updates

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong C# / .NET skills
  • Solid experience with ASP.NET Core web applications
  • Strong TypeScript skills
  • Experience with a modern frontend framework; Angular preferred, with React or Vue transferable
  • Working knowledge of SQL, query writing, parameterization, and an ORM or data access layer
  • Regular unit-testing practice; integration or end-to-end testing experience is advantageous
  • Strong Git skills, including branching, rebasing, clean commits, and useful pull requests
  • Ability to read and understand unfamiliar code
  • Clear written and spoken English
  • Genuine interest in security
  • Experience with .NET 10, ASP.NET Core Web API, TypeScript, Angular 20, Node.js, webpack, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL, Docker, Azure, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, xUnit, Moq, coverlet, Karma/Jasmine, Aikido Security, and ESLint
