Job Description
Full Stack Engineer securing cloud HR software for public-sector organizations. Fixing vulnerabilities across .NET, Angular, SQL, containers, and Kubernetes while automating dependency updates.
Responsibilities:
- Remediate security vulnerabilities across the full stack, including dependency upgrades, authorization, XSS, path traversal, SQL injection, weak cryptography, credential rotation, and container/Kubernetes hardening
- Write unit tests and perform functional verification for every security fix
- Own major-version upgrades end to end, diagnosing build breaks and application-behavior changes through resolution
- Document upgrade analyses and solutions to prevent repeated work
- Collaborate with repository-owning teams, gather context, and work through reviews
- Coordinate safe, sequenced credential rotations with DevOps across consuming services and applications
- Evaluate suggested fixes and false positives, providing technical reasoning and architectural judgment
- Set up automation for continuous routine dependency updates
- Join a focused application security initiative supporting a cloud-based platform for public-sector employee lifecycle and HR management
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong C# / .NET skills
- Solid experience with ASP.NET Core web applications
- Strong TypeScript skills
- Experience with a modern frontend framework; Angular preferred, with React or Vue highly transferable
- Working knowledge of SQL, including queries, parameterization, and an ORM or data access layer
- Regular unit-testing practice, ideally with integration or end-to-end testing experience
- Strong Git skills, including branching, rebasing, clean commits, and useful pull requests
- Ability to read and understand unfamiliar code
- Clear written and spoken English
- Genuine interest in security
- Experience or knowledge of the listed stack: .NET 10, ASP.NET Core Web API, TypeScript, Angular 20, Node.js, webpack, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL, Docker, Azure, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, xUnit, Moq, coverlet, Karma/Jasmine, Aikido Security, and ESLint
- Candidate must be currently based in Latin America, as indicated by the required application question
