Job Description
Senior Account Manager growing named accounts and orders quota for Honeywell’s Process Automation business. Building executive customer relationships and executing complex sales strategies across the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute territorial plans and sales strategies to grow and serve the customer base
- Act as the main interface for customers and build long-term relationships at all organizational levels
- Position Honeywell as a trusted partner
- Understand customer needs and drivers and communicate Honeywell’s value
- Tailor solutions to deliver business outcomes and create barriers to competitors
- Manage day-to-day and strategic sales activities
- Perform account planning, opportunity identification, proposals, negotiations, and long-term growth initiatives
- Coordinate internal resources and champion customer requirements within Honeywell
- Influence peers and executives to ensure customer success and order pursuit
- Develop, drive, and grow named accounts in the assigned region or territory
- Own the orders quota for selected accounts
- Travel to customer and Honeywell sites, most often across Ireland, the UK, and Europe
Requirements:
- Strong solution sales experience, preferably from a technical solution remit
- Proven ability to plan, develop, and execute complex sales strategies and campaigns
- Experience with early engagement in customer buying cycles and long-term account growth
- Skilled at building and maintaining senior-level customer relationships
- Ability to navigate complex situations with political agility and act as a trusted advisor
- Deep understanding of Honeywell’s value proposition, industry trends, customer drivers, commercial terms, and account management practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Credible and respected internally and externally

- Effective in matrix organizations
