Job Description
Working student supporting Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Python analytics at Nordex, a global wind turbine manufacturer. Automating reporting and business processes to improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using Microsoft Power BI
- Analyze, structure, and visualize business data from internal and external data sources
- Develop advanced Excel solutions using formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and data models
- Automate recurring reporting and Excel processes using VBA, Python, Power Automate, or comparable technologies
- Create and optimize SQL queries for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data
- Support development and maintenance of Power BI data models while ensuring high data quality
- Collaborate with different departments to understand and implement reporting and automation requirements
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and data analysis functions
- Practical experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Basic programming skills in at least one programming language, ideally Python
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
- Strong interest in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, digitalization, process automation, and optimization of business processes
