Job Description
Backend Software Engineer developing a public API at Hopper for world-class travel portals. Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver features.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and operate a public API
- Operate autonomously but work closely with your fellow engineers as well as designer/PM to ensure high alignment
- Explore engineering improvements for the team and the product
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the product team, other Hopper teams and external partner teams
- Our group operates with very few meetings and emphasizes strong alignment and asynchronous decision making.
Requirements:
- Candidates must be registered as a Monotributista (or Responsable Inscripto) with AFIP and must be able to issue valid legal invoices (Factura B or C) for services rendered.
- The contractor is responsible for their own health insurance (Obra Social), pension contributions, and professional equipment.
