Job Description
Senior Business Intelligence Engineer at Tebra designing cloud-based Data Intelligence solutions. Leading development of BI tools, optimizing reporting and analytics processes for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Help lead the design and development of scalable, efficient, and user-friendly BI solutions
- Develop and optimize data models, data flows, and processes
- Integrate and develop AI-driven modeling into BI architectures
- Ensure the performance and scalability of BI tools
- Engage with business leaders to translate complex requirements into technical specifications
- Design, implement, and optimize complex reports and dashboards
- Work closely with data engineers to integrate data sources
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to BI platforms
- Lead efforts to improve BI tools, processes, and standards
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for BI solutions
- Provide technical mentorship to junior team members
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data engineering, or analytics
- Expertise in BI/reporting software (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong SQL knowledge (T-SQL, PL/SQL)
- In-depth understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Proficient in data analysis, statistical techniques, and study design
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate effectively
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to optimize BI solutions
- Experience working in industries with large-scale data infrastructure (Healthcare, Finance, Tech, etc.) is a plus
- Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI certifications are highly preferred
