Job Description
Senior Business Technical Analyst improving Centene healthcare data systems and member outreach processes. Building Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Databricks pipelines for more accessible healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Provides in-depth business knowledge and advanced technical support to one or more business areas through analysis/reporting and designing/programming complex processes and reports
- Acts as subject matter expert for business systems/applications
- Analyzes company functions, processes, and activities to improve computer-based business applications
- Performs application/system design and implementation
- Documents development requirements and consults with end users to test and debug applications
- Manages end-to-end data exchange with internal partners and external vendors
- Oversees member sequencing logic using vendor outreach responses
- Develops, validates, and maintains data processes and pipelines in Snowflake, SQL, Python, and/or Databricks
- Supports migration of legacy processes to modern platforms
- Develops ad-hoc reports for data analysis and validation
- Analyzes operational procedures and trends to identify problems
- Conducts business analysis and recommends technical solutions to management
- Researches, evaluates, and assesses financial impact of data/process issues
- Automates processing and improves existing business systems
- Creates multiuser, real-time database solutions
- Monitors and reports departmental project status; identifies issues and implements corrective actions and mitigation strategies
- Provides oversight, resolves complex issues, optimizes performance, and provides timely follow-up
- Provides guidance and training to staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience in technical data analysis, conducting system analysis meetings, developing system design documents, developing project plans with achievable milestones and deadlines, and mediating different department demands to gain approvals on system scope and design
- 4+ years of experience in relevant programming to include Snowflake, SQL, Python, or Adobe (or similar depending upon departmental requirements)
- 3+ years of experience in related business analysis
- Preferred 1+ year of experience in Healthcare
- Master's degree in a related field may be considered in lieu of some required experience, not to exceed 2 years
