Job Description

Deployment Strategist growing partner ecosystems for Onboarded’s hiring and compliance engine. Launching integrations, enabling partners, and driving customers live and ecosystem revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Own up to three partner ecosystems from signing to steady state
  • Join partnership deals before closing to plan sales, implementation, and support responsibilities
  • Drive partner customers live, ecosystem ARR, and the share of implementations partners can run independently
  • Train partner sales, customer success, and implementation teams
  • Build enablement kits and launch playbooks
  • Work with Customer Engineering to certify partner front-line support
  • Launch initial partner customers and convert lessons into repeatable processes
  • Design partnership integrations, including REST API and MCP usage, data movement, and workflow ownership
  • Decide what should be built by Onboarded engineers, partner engineers, or both
  • Review partner technical designs and identify scalability risks
  • Write requirements and user stories for engineers
  • Prioritize product requests and test shipped functionality
  • Maintain a written point of view on each ecosystem, identifying adoption constraints and recommending whether to invest, hold steady, or stop
  • Hand ecosystems to Customer Engineering once partners can run most implementations independently

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in partner solutions, solutions architecture, solutions engineering, product, or implementation leadership at a software company, or 2+ years in a builder or founder seat at a startup
  • Experience enabling a channel, launching an integration program, or growing adoption inside someone else's customer base
  • Experience using AI tools as a force multiplier for enablement content, requirements, adoption analysis, prototyping, and related work; this is non-negotiable
  • Ability to design end-to-end integrations involving APIs, webhooks, authentication, data models, and record synchronization
  • Experience working with another company's engineering team, explaining how to build on a product, and reviewing technical designs
  • Ability to whiteboard systems and identify failure points before implementation
  • Experience training another company's sales or implementation team
  • Ability to hold strategy conversations with partner product and partnerships leaders and work through launches with implementation teams
  • Experience in staffing, ATS or HRIS software, or employment compliance is a strong signal but not required
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and equity in a fast-growing startup
  • Variable pay tied to the growth of the ecosystems you own
  • Health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits
  • Remote-first culture with optional in-person collaboration
  • A chance to build the motion that grows every partner ecosystem we sign
  • Up to 25% travel
