Job Description
Senior C# developer supporting IT services clients across Java-to-C# migrations and .NET workstreams. Rotating across codebases for services, features, defects, and enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Move across multiple Client C# workstreams as priorities shift
- Support Java-to-C# migration during peak periods
- Review and finish AI-converted code
- Build out C# services and prove parity
- Handle feature development, defect work, and enhancements on other C# projects
- Ramp quickly on unfamiliar codebases
- Deliver with minimal hand-holding and independently across changing assignments
Requirements:
- 8+ years of strong C# / .NET experience
- Proficiency with .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, dependency injection, and async/await
- Demonstrated history of working across multiple projects, clients, or codebases
- Ability to ramp quickly and switch context comfortably
- SQL knowledge
- Experience with EF Core or Dapper
- REST API knowledge
- Ability to deliver independently across changing assignments
- Code migration or application modernization experience, including framework upgrades such as .NET version migrations (nice to have)
- Java familiarity (nice to have)
- AI coding tool experience (nice to have)
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS, containerization, and CI/CD (nice to have)
