Job Description
Technical Lead for COBOL applications at Inetum, ensuring quality support and modernizing critical systems. Collaborating with teams and clients in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for COBOL applications.
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents, ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Provide technical leadership to the application maintenance team (developers, analysts).
- Participate in the design of enhancements and conduct code reviews.
- Implement and enforce best practices (standards, performance, security).
- Act as the primary technical contact for the client (technical committee, reporting).
- Contribute to application modernization (migration, optimization).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in COBOL development.
- Proficiency with agile development environments.
- Ability to produce high-quality, performant, and secure code.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) with at least 3 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as COBOL.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
