Job Description
Senior Digital Visual Designer at fintech company delivering enhanced digital experiences and innovative design solutions. Collaborating across teams and mentoring junior designers while managing multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Set the creative bar. Inspire the team and clients alike with design that's both visually exceptional and grounded in strategy, data, and user insight.
- Collaborate across disciplines. Partner with UX designers, interaction designers, strategists, and developers to define creative direction and deliver outstanding digital experiences across web, mobile, and emerging platforms.
- Own the craft. Translate wireframes, functional specifications, and prototypes into high-fidelity design that brings the user experience fully to life — across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Champion innovation. Continuously push the boundaries of what's aesthetically and technologically possible within our clients' industries.
- Mentor and elevate. Invest in junior creative team members and foster a culture of cross-discipline collaboration and shared craft.
- Deliver with consistency. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment, and maintain an uncompromising standard of quality from concept through delivery.
- Be a client partner. Show up with confidence and clarity in client-facing presentations, translating complex design decisions into compelling narratives.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience at a digital agency
- A strong portfolio demonstrating quality work across digital media — including responsive web, mobile, and app design
- Expert-level proficiency with Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Deep understanding of interaction design, branding, digital marketing, and the end-to-end creative process
- Proven experience with mobile-first, responsive design across devices and platforms
- Familiarity with front-end technologies — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, data visualization — enough to design with development realities in mind
- A natural ability to absorb feedback, self-direct, and iterate with purpose
- Bachelor's degree in design or a related field preferred; formal design training highly valued
- Bonus points for: Motion design experience, Financial services industry background, Experience with data visualization and designing for complex information environments
