Job Description
Senior Engineering Manager overseeing backend services in the Maps division at Mapbox. Driving profitability and managing product development, teams, and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for the Maps engineering teams.
- Lead an organization of engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee lifecycle of Maps APIs to meet requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with external engineering leaders for technical excellence.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of software development leadership experience.
- Conceptualized and delivered B2B2C or consumer-facing products.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in a high-accountability environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive go-to-market strategies.
