Job Description
Enterprise process specialist driving Lean Six Sigma improvements across Cotiviti’s healthcare operations. Leading executive-facing transformations, integrations, and operational efficiency projects.
Responsibilities:
- Drive large, cross-discipline, company-wide process improvement and operational projects with high executive visibility
- Improve operational efficiency and reduce cycle times
- Lead projects involving international operations and offshoring, deployment of new systems, post-merger integrations, and strategic initiatives
- Act in a Project Management role as required by leadership
- Gather voice of the internal customer, conduct process discovery sessions, and perform situational assessments
- Engage executive stakeholders to identify, scope, and complete process-specific consulting engagements
- Coordinate across disparate organizations and disciplines with multiple owners, tasks, and deliverables
- Provide regular executive updates on project status
- Interact directly with senior leadership, including SLT members and company owners
- Adapt process improvement approaches to specific projects
- Summarize project status at an executive level while maintaining detailed project plans
- Coordinate with PMO/project managers on related projects and handoffs to implement agreed solutions
- Drive adoption of industry-standard process improvement methodologies
- Remain current on Lean Six Sigma developments, techniques, and industry trends
- Support Lean Six Sigma training and certification programs through content delivery, coaching, mentoring, and project oversight
- Consult, prioritize, and communicate with stakeholders regarding project pipelines, expectations, and feedback
- Provide prompt, white-glove service to Executives and SLT
- Complete special projects and other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health, or Medical discipline
- MBA or equivalent business knowledge preferred
- Minimum 12 years’ experience identifying, scoping, and leading process improvement efforts at large companies with international operations and measurable outcomes
- Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma, with demonstrated experience managing a successful project portfolio
- Experience coordinating directly with C-level executives
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions related process improvement projects
- Familiarity with major financial reporting techniques and terminology, and experience working directly with a large finance team
- Publication or conference presentation experience in Lean Six Sigma or related topics is a plus
- Experience working in large software companies and with software development lifecycle management methodologies is a plus
- Travel expected to be less than 10%, but may be required for some efforts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong executive presence
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, and Outlook), project management tools, video conferencing, and other standard project tools
- Organized and able to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure on multiple simultaneous projects with tight timeframes
- Self-driven and able to drive efforts that are constantly changing and always working with new groups and processes
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team with a sense of urgency
- Ability to properly handle confidential information
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work within a matrixed organization
- Proficiency in all required skills and competencies
- Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance
- Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area
