Job Description

Senior Escrow Officer managing end-to-end closing processes for real estate transactions. Join a mission-driven team transforming real estate experiences with technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a professional closing experience, including obtaining appropriate signatures, handling funds, and meeting all title and lender requirements, across multiple states.
  • Review contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions to prepare settlement statements and necessary real estate documents for closing.
  • Hold and disburse funds according to escrow instructions, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all parties involved in the real estate transaction throughout the life cycle of the file.
  • Prepare documents for recording to ensure legal compliance and proper documentation.
  • Oversee policy issuance to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Realtors and industry professionals to continuously grow business opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of team members by mentoring Assistant, fostering a collaborative and skilled team environment.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in the title industry (Residential Resale)
  • Experience handling all aspects of escrow and title processes across multiple states
  • Demonstrates complete knowledge and ability to handle a Real Estate transaction from receipt of contract to funding and disbursement
  • Solid knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, legal documents and real property law
  • Excellent computer skills in Closing Software (Qualia), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), Adobe Suite and Google Workplace
