Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst in finance team providing analysis for month-end reporting and forecasting. Key contributor to P&L analysis and support for strategic financial decisions in home solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide value-added analysis for month-end Financial (P&L analysis) and KPI reporting (financial & subscriber performance)
- Continuously work with marketing and product primes to ensure policy and control adherence
- Lead the preparation of monthly rolling forecast (“Triage”) which includes subscriber/rgu outlook
- Lead the preparation of Annual Budget and Strat Check (long-term model)
- Maintain and update SAP and Hyperion hierarchies
- Create and present organizational information and financial reports to team members and leadership
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of relevant analytical experience
- Experience with month-end close work, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations and controls monitoring & remediation
- Accounting Designation (CPA/CA, CMA, CGA) preferred
- Business Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or Engineering related degree
- Telecom/IT and/or Retail Operations work experience considered an asset
