  • Coordinate US federal and state income tax, government grants (R&D), and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Own music licensing compliance (SoundExchange, SESAC, APRA AMCOS) with support from legal.

  • Partner with the CFO on board reporting, investor materials, and capital planning.
  • Support deal modelling and pricing analysis with FP&A for new client opportunities as needed.
  • Own the annual budgeting process end-to-end: coordinate with department heads, build and maintain the consolidated budget model, track actuals vs budget, and present variance analysis to the CFO and SLT.

  • Provide financial input on new market expansion (compliance, entity setup, tax implications).

Requirements:

  • 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role (Controller, Sr Controller, Director of Finance, or VP Finance) at a high-growth SaaS or technology company.

  • Track record of building or significantly improving month-end close processes.
  • Experience managing distributed teams (onshore + offshore).
